Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Danielle Stone attended the simulation exercise yesterday with Deputy Chief Constable Ashley Tuckley and Chief Fire Officer Nikki Watson.
Emergency services and other public sector agencies came together to practice their response to a mock military aircraft crash in St James, Northampton.
Danielle said: “I was reassured by the strong response when I watched Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service and Northamptonshire Police rally together in real-time as the scenario unfolded. I was proud to see the level of service and care they provided to casualties.
“It’s through strong partnership training exercises like this that our agencies can create the best learning environment for real-life events.”
