Decision taken
The PFCC has agreed the approval for the award of the contract for Firefighter Pension Administration
for NFRS to West Yorkshire Pension Fund for the contract period 1st April 2021 to 31st March 2026 at
a total contract value of £97,850 (excluding VAT). The tender also allowed for a further 3x 12month
extensions. If all 3 options to extend are taken, there will be an additional cost of £15,570 per annum.
1.3 It is recommended that this contract be awarded on a 5 year + 1year + 1year + 1year basis at a
total cost of £144,560 (excluding VAT).

Professional financial and legal advice has been sought to ensure the decision best supports business need and represents value for money.
