NFRS Decision Record 64 NFRS Cleaning Contract
Decision taken
The current cleaning contract for NFRS ends 31/8/2021 with no extensions. It was anticipated that
NFRS would undertake a joint procurement with Northamptonshire Police but due to Covid-19
restrictions site visits and full procurement has not been possible. The PFCC has taken the decision
recommend the extension of the current cleaning contract NFRS have with have a contract with Solo
Service Group who clean across their 22 sites for twelve months to enable a joint procurement next
year. The cost of the contract will be £106 903.62.

Professional financial and legal advice has been sought to ensure the decision best supports
business need and represents value for money.
