NFRS Decision Record 67 Asbestos Removal
Decision taken
The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner has taken the decision to put a call off contract in place with Ensafe up to a max spend of £100,000 to cover all aspects of work for asbestos removal across the whole NFRS estate. Estates will still complete a SOR for each individual activity to be approved for that work stream. Ensafe Consultancy will provide advice to what works needs doing and how, tender the work to approved asbestos removal orgs (demonstrating best value), and ensure the work when completed is
legally compliant.
