The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner has taken the decision to approve a variation in the contract to increase the provision of vehicles for training purposes at Rushden station, various stations in the north and at Mereway training to accommodate fire fighter development. This variation supports the organisational establishment increases and new shift system and represents an increase of £4670 on the original contract value of £122,840.
