Decision taken
The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner has taken the decision to agree a Three-year
contract for the provision of prepared scrap vehicles for Road Traffic Collision (RTC) training.
The availability of prepared RTC scrap cars for training of firefighters is a requirement for the
acquisition and maintenance of competence of staff responding to RTC incidents. Failure to
facilitate adequate training would be in breach of FRS Act and H&S legislation.
