HMICFRS Report – Management of terrorist offenders in the wake of terrorist attacks

This counter terrorism inspection examined national security division and multi-agency arrangements for the management of terrorist offenders in the wake of terrorist attacks.

It was conducted jointly by HM Inspectorate of Probation, HMICFRS and HM Inspectorate of Prisons.

The inspection was commissioned by the Criminal Justice Chief Inspectors’ Group and published by HM Inspectorate of Probation.

PFCC Response 

“The PFCC accepts all the recommendations in the report and notes that there are no specific recommendations for individual forces are Chief Constables. He will however be making a request of Chief Constable to satisfy himself through the NPCC that arrangements are in place to implement recommendations 19-21 relating to counter terrorism policing.”
