NFRS Decision Record 147 – Extension to MDT Software Contracts for Safe Command Suite Crash Recovery
Decision taken
To extend a contract with Airbus Defence and Space Ltd for the provision of support and maintenance service for software, which enables Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service to appropriately deploy and manage fires and help source information including where the nearest hydrants are.
This extension will utilise the last year of the approved contract which was approved 1 November 2023 to 31 October 2024 with 1 x 12-month extension. The value of the extension will increase the contract by £47,165.00 excl VAT and will bring the overall contract value to £94,330.00 excl VAT.
