Decision taken
To agree a single tender authorisation request as the purchase of ammunition has gone over
the threshold for Procurement involvement. The Force purchase Federal Ammunition from
GMK, who are the sole supplier, therefore a STA is required so a contract can be raised for a
period of one year, with a value of £30k for the year with an option to extend for a further 12
months if an alternative supplier is still not available.
