The decision has been taken to award a contract to St John and Red Cross Defence Medical Welfare Service for the provision of Psychological and Innovative Health Services to Northamptonshire Police. The service provides mental health provision for those with complex mental health needs who are
experiencing a high level of trauma following operational incidents. The initial contract period is from 22 May 2023 to 21 May 2026 with two 12-month extension periods available which would bring the ultimate contract end date to 21 May 2028. If all extension periods are utilised, then the overall contract
value would be up to £2,850,000 ex VAT.
