Decision Record 520 – Section 22 Agreements for Counter Terrorism Policing East Midlands
Decision taken
The decision has been taken to sign a new collaboration agreement to govern the collaborative unit for the Counter Terrorism in Policing in the East Midlands (CTPEM) previously known as EMSOU (Special Branch) and EMSOU (Counter Terrorism) with the aim of providing East Midlands Forces with a counter terrorism policing capability. The previous agreement expires automatically on 31 March 2025. The new agreement with commence on 1 April 2025 with no fixed expiry date.
Forces involved: Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire.
