Yellow hi-vis vest with 'IMMEDIATE JUSTICE' in black on the back

The Immediate Justice Team from the Office of Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner has partnered with the Addingtons Playing Field Committee to freshen up a children’s play area that had been vandalised.

Two walls at either end of the basketball court on the playing fields in Great Addington had been covered in graffiti, ruining their appearance and making the area appear unwelcoming.

The Committee got in touch with the Immediate Justice Team to ask if they could help facilitate the clean-up.

The wall is clean and free of graffiti. A basketball hoop with a Sport England logo is mounted above the wall. The ground in front shows faded court markings, and there are trees and grass in the background under a cloudy sky. The word “After” is written in white text at the bottom left corner.

The team organised for one man, aged 38, to spend 6 hours painting the walls, covering the graffiti, and repainting a newly outlined goal post for people to enjoy.

The Immediate Justice Team regularly partner with town and parish councils to clean up our public and community spaces across the county so everyone can enjoy them.

Since December 2023, the Team have helped to make improvements to over 70 locations in Northamptonshire.
