Decision taken
The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner has taken the decision to approve the contract for the purchase and installation of 7 compressors for NFRSW. This procurement was undertaken via a request for quotation with three suppliers submitting bids.
Following evaluation Bauer Komresson were selected as the preferred bidder. The contract value for this procurement is £133,525.23. This is being taken from the capital budget and is split across the financial years with:
• £86,831.17 being spent before March 2022 and
• £46,694.06 being spent between 1st April 2022 and 31st March 2023.
The installation plan has been agreed between fire and the supplier to ensure this can be
achieved.

Professional financial and legal advice has been sought to ensure the decision best supports business need and represents value for money.
