NFRS Decision Record 85 – NFRS Control Room Systems
Decision taken
To award the contract to SSS Public Safety for the provision of the Northamptonshire Fire &
Rescue Service (NFRS) Control Room Systems. This is following a compliant procurement that
was run by Warwickshire County Council on behalf of NFRS and Warwickshire Fire & Rescue
Service to achieve economies of scale utilising Most Economically Advantageous Tender
principles. Whilst the procurement was undertaken jointly both parties have separate contracts with SSS Public Safety. The contract will run from 30/08/22 to 18/03/29. There is a two-year extension period available which will run until 18/03/31. The total value of the contract is £1,393,657.20 including VAT if the extension period is utilised.
