The decision has been taken to extend a Northamptonshire Police contract for the provision of Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship courses with the University of Northampton. The courses allow recruits to join as apprentices and undertake a three-year degree course as an entry route to a career in the police force. The contract term was from 01 April 2020 to 31 March 2023 for a value of £906,118.37. This extension is for a further 12-month period concluding on 31
March 2024 with an up to value of £600,000 meaning the overall Contract value is £1,506,118.37 ex VAT.
