The decision has been taken to extend a Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Contract for The Provision of Airwave radio equipment and professional support by Sepura Limited.
The variation is to purchase additional hardware due to handset migration; this purchase will bring the total number of handsets to 2000 to be used for rollout and BAU.
The value of the extension will increase the contract by £305,392.50 Excl VAT and will bring the overall contract value to £1,351,953.74 excl VAT.
