Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner’s Fire & Rescue Precept for 2026/27
At the meeting of the Police, Fire and Crime Panel held on the 4th of February 2026, the PFCC set out the details for the proposed Council Tax Precept for Northamptonshire Fire & Rescue for 2026-27. In addition to this, the panel were provided with information in respect of the revenue budget, capital programme, reserves and medium-term financial plan (MTFP) to provide context for the precept proposal.

The Panel must review the proposed precept and make a report on it. The Commissioner must have regard to this report and respond to any specific conclusions or recommendations from the Panel before issuing the final Police precept.
