“I am writing under the Freedom of Information Act to request the following information about external support provided to the Northamptonshire PFCC or OPFCC in relation to internal/external communications and/or media relations and/or public affairs and/or public relations:
When the PFCC or OPFCC last went out to tender for this type of support;
- Which supplier won the contract;
- What the value of the contract is;
- When the PFCC or OPFCC is next going out to tender for this type of support.”
Response
I can confirm the Office of the Northamptonshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner does hold the information requested.
Support to the OPFCC in relation to internal/external communications and/or media relations and/or public affairs and/or public relations is provided in house through a joint OPFCC/Fire Communications Team. In 2025/26, the OPFCC allocated £231k for the provision of the joint Communications Team and there are no plans to go out to tender to replace the current provision.
