FOI Request 08042026-1 – Contempt of Court

Request

  1. In November 2025, Northamptonshire Police was fined £50,000 by the Court of Appeal for being found in Contempt of Court. At a meeting of the Police, Fire and Crime Panel on 27 November 2025, the Commissioner stated that she had commissioned her deputy to undertake a review of the situation and what had happened to lead to this matter occurring. The Commissioner also stated that she hoped that this review would be able to be completed rapidly and be in a position to report back in new year. I would like to request a copy of this review/report if it has been completed.
  2. In early December 2025, the Commissioner launched an online public consultation regarding the council tax precepts for Northamptonshire Police and Northamptonshire Fire & Rescue Service for the 2026/2027 financial year. This survey closed at midday on 05 January 2026. In previous years, the results of this consultation have been published on the OPFCC website. Please provide a copy of the full results of the 2026-2027 consultation if available.
  3. In July 2025, the OPFCC in conjunction with Northamptonshire Police and Northamptonshire Fire & Rescue Service held two community open days (one at Wickstead Park on 19 July 2025 and one at Delapre Abbey on 27 July 2025). The OPFCC ran an online feedback survey for the public to give their views on both of these events after they had attended them and to give suggestions for future events etc. Please could you provide a copy of the results report for this survey if available
