Decision taken
The decision has been taken to vary the Network and Telephony contract with CAE Technology Services to allow for the upgrade of the Redbox system. This system records all of the noise within the Force control room including 999 calls, officer airwave communication and ambient noise to hold as a record for data retention and audit purposes. The period of the variation is 17 October 2022 to 31 March 2025.The value of the variation is £33,427.78 ex VAT/ £40,113.34 inc VAT. The overall value of the contract has increased to £773,088.74 exVAT/£927, 696.49 inc VAT.
