Northamptonshire Police has launched a major campaign called #CutItOut, aimed at hair and beauty professionals and the wider public as part of its priority to tackle domestic abuse.
The campaign is being funded by Northamptonshire’s Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner and Northamptonshire Police.
Please provide the following information:
- How much funding was allocated for this campaign?
- Who is providing the training , is this a company /organisation or is the training being provided by police officers?

Following a search of our paper and electronic records, I have established that the information you requested is held by the Office of the Northamptonshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (OPFCC).

The OPFCC assigned £5k aside for the campaign
- Who is providing the training , is this a company /organisation or is the training being provided by police officers?
It isn’t training it’s an information evening with advice and guidance given from:
– DA lead for the Force plus specialist officers from Domestic Abuse Team
– CPS special prosecutor for DA
– Voice for Victims and Witnesses –IDVA/ Sunflower service
– Northamptonshire Domestic Abuse Service
– EVE- also a specialist DA provider in the county
– Hair care professionals from the county on their own lived DA experiences
