NFRS Decision Record 201 – Contract for Provision of Ropes at Corby and Mereway Fire Stations with Rosbo Ltd.
Decision taken
The decision has been taken to vary a Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service Contract for The Provision of Roofs at Corby & Mereway Fire Stations and steel works project to Rosbo LTD.
This is to include essential remedial works to the fire escape on 1st floor at Mereway station that have been identified. These were not included within the original contract but are required to maintain the integrity and safe use of the fire escape and outside seating area at this location. This comes to a value of £16,360.00 Excl. VAT
Additionally, the decision has been made to further vary the contract to add a 5% contingency figure of £14,269.35 Excl. VAT to this contract to allow for potential repairs to be undertaken if further matters arise when we enter phase 2 of the roof works.
The contract term remains from 30/03/2026 to 29/03/2027 with no extension options included. With these changes in place this means the new contract value is £316,016.35 Excl. VAT / £379,219. 62 Incl. VAT.
